Stuffing assignments into my desk

"I was six years old when the procrastination started. I hated doing my first grade classwork and homework. Sometimes I would wait until the last minute to do my assignments; other times I would avoid doing the assignments altogether, stuffing them into my desk and forgetting about them.

I never thought I would get into trouble for my bad habits, because I was a cute little boy. However, one day my teacher cleaned out my desk while I was in music class. I came back to find a pile of assignments on my desk, uncrumpled and stapled together into a packet.

There was no escaping the assignments. I was told to do them over the weekend. It was a miserable weekend, but I had no choice."
